Welcome from the Executive Headteacher

It is with great pleasure that I introduce you to our wonderful school of which we are all very proud.  This is a school where children and adults have fun, work hard, and achieve their very best in order to 'Let their light shine'.

In our school community, we grow well-rounded individuals, who utilise our Christian values to prepare for the challenges of the wider world. We provide a safe, nurturing and inclusive environment where individuality is celebrated. We support the children to develop curious minds and enable happy, confident learners to reach their full potential.

We believe we have high expectations for all our pupils and staff and know that all parents will help William Hildyard to continue to be a very successful and thriving school for the benefit of everyone in the community. Parents have a vital role to play and we want to work together as a team to fully realise the potential of your child.

We were pleased that the last OFSTED inspection was able to recognise the many  strengths of our school: pupils' excellent behaviour; the ambitious curriculum; the range of opportunities to develop leadership skills and the care and support the children and staff receive to support their wellbeing. We want all of our staff and pupils to flourish in our care.

Our children achieve good results and academic standards are very important to us. We love sports and music and produce the most fantastic concerts! We have talented children and staff who constantly strive to be the best we can be at all times. You will hear much laughter and see smiling faces when you visit us as well as good quality work in every part of the school.
