Lincolnshire Locally Agreed Syllabus for RE
For schools in Lincolnshire, the revised Lincolnshire locally agreed syllabus for RE came into effect in September 2025 with the expectation that schools are using it as the basis of the RE curriculum by September 2026. All local authority and voluntary-controlled church schools are legally required to use this syllabus as the basis of their RE curriculum. Aspire Federation schools have opted to use this syllabus as the basis for our RE curriculum, even though as voluntary aided schools, we are not required to do so.
You can find the Lincolnshire locally agreed syllabus for RE (2025-30) by following the link in the left hand menu of this page.
Please read the document below to find out about how we deliver the RE curriculum in school, including information about the right to withdraw your child from all or part of RE.
Please also see our Year group overviews in the 'Our Learning' section of the website for further information about curriculum breakdown in each year group.
Collective Worship
At our school, Collective Worship is a special time when we come together each day to pause, reflect and celebrate what matters most. Led by our Collective Worship Council, worship helps us grow in our school values of peace, joy, wisdom, courage, forgiveness, thankfulness, dignity, respect, community, friendship, generosity and hope.
Each Wednesday, we are delighted to welcome Reverend Taylor or a member of the church team, who leads worship and helps us explore faith and values in an engaging and meaningful way. On Friday we celebrate our school vision ‘Let your light shine’ and children’s achievements are celebrated through our good work worship. Every term, we focus on one of our values with support from our local clergy, learning how these values shape our lives in school and beyond.
We love celebrating together at St George’s Church during our special services at Harvest, Christmas and Easter, and we end each week by celebrating achievements with Good Work Awards. Through Picture News, we also learn about the wider world, developing global awareness and understanding.
Our worship is invitational, joyful and inclusive, filled with songs and hymns, both traditional and modern, helping us to sing, reflect and grow together as a caring school community.
